We will bear witness to a marvelous shift in the astrological calendar on March 23, 2023, as Pluto moves into Aquarius for the first time since the late 1770s (248 years). Pluto will transit back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius till 2024, until it goes direct in November 2024 in Aquarius where it will stay for the next 20 years.
Coming out of Capricorn in which it wreaked havoc for the past 15 years, revealing many government and power-structure corruptions relating to economy, security, control, misguidance and abuse, Pluto will step into the realms of freedom, revolution, technology, community and oneness. It will indeed be a ride into the future of humanity, destroying old structures to create a true Aquarian Dream.
Pluto will find a lot of freedom when in Aquarius (much like how Uranus loves its stay in Scorpio). We can expect to see a massive paradigm shift that slowly starts from 2023.
On a global level:
Power now will slowly shift back to the hands of people rather than a select few. There may be outrage over the control and corruption through social media platforms & information media outlets. Exposure of misinformation and misdirection spread by technological groups. There may even be leaks or demands for disclosure of “classified information”. Group and community efforts toward solving many important societal issues. Humanitarian ideologies will become a collective focus as activism, environmentalism and conservational efforts take the center stage.
Societal and cultural norms will see significant shifts. Individual rights and freedom may first see major compromises or even restrictions leading to mass revolutions to end any subversive dictatorial rule. Major breakthroughs in inventions, technology and science. There may be a rise in social media obsession which will soon reach a peak and transform into conscious ways of utilizing information & internet. Surveillance and information monopolization that have their roots in social media will face backlash or even take down from the general public.
Like everything related to Pluto, there will be extremes in the way issues arise, are exposed, and dealt with all at the same time. Causalities of revolution may be too high if the reasons are blurred by rage & impulsivity. There may be major events in the technological world that will arise questions regarding the dangers of A. I./V. R, personal information on digital platforms, digital economy, etc. There may be a push towards equality, but to the extreme where everyone wants inclusivity in the notion that “everyone who participates must get a certificate just because” which can become a complex solution to simple issues rather than the other way around. So, this transit can either clear the way for a better future or silently get us closer to a dystopian one.
Pluto in the sign of community, shared information & resources, technology and revolution will bring about an era of liberation in self & collective expression, freedom of speech and new ways of accessing/distributing resources. Gender & economic equality, sexual & gender identity issues, right to information, etc. will meet with defiance before finding their resolutions. Class systems based on economic and other discriminatory status may see a popularity decline. Global markets will go through major transformations, including digital & foreign currencies, stocks and taxes. Natural & energy resource management may face crises and later find consensual resolutions. Global efforts toward bringing a sense of oneness and encouragement of peace will lead to major leaps in collective evolution.
On a personal level:
You might become more and more aware of possible toxicity in your personal & social circles, be it family, friends, or acquaintances.
